Don’t forget that next week Wednesday we head to the movies to see Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.  We will see it on the IMAX screen at Showcase.  You can get all the details and the permission slip from the Special Events page.

The lock-in is coming up in just two weekends.  Join us on Saturday, July 11 for this fantastic event.  All the details are on the Special Events page.

Then there is Whirly Ball on July 22.  You will also need a permission slip for that.  And all the details are also on the Special Events page.

Hi all!

Tomorrow night is the youth group dinner in the youth room from 6:30-9:00 pm.  Please drop me a note or give me a call if you are coming - it will help with the food purchasing.

Also, for those of you signed up for the Honduras Service Trip - right now it is wait and see.  I’m collecting information as fast as I can to see what our options are.

School is out and the summer officially has begun!

This Wednesday we kick off our summer youth group with a party in the youth room from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.  We’ll have food, movies, music, games, and more.  Join us as we enjoy the first week of summer!

At the very bottom of this home page you will now see the Google Calendar for the youth ministry.  The calendar page will remain with details like permission slips, longer narratives describing the events, and more.  We’re just trying to make things a bit easier for you!

Hi all!

We are in full summer mode now - and you need to make sure you’re ready to join us on all the adventures.

• Cedar Point Permission slips are due by June 7.  You can drop them off in the parish office at any time - just slide them in the mail slot in the door if the office is closed.  No late forms can be accepted.
• Those going to Honduras with us this summer, don’t forget about our mandatory meeting tomorrow (June 4).  Also - make sure you’re getting those immunizations taken care of.  I just got mine and you can’t put a couple of them off to the last minute.
• Head’s up - the July 11-12 lock in is gathering a ton of attention.  Make sure it is on your calendar and you are planning how to decorate your indoor campsite.  Some other youth groups are joining us and their plans are elaborate!
• Also, June 22 we will meet to pick the WYD 2011 package.  Meeting is at 7 pm in the school music room.  Don’t worry if you can’t make it, this isn’t the sign up and informational meeting, it is just to pick which of four options you are interested in.

I think that covers it for the day.  Prepare! Summer is here and we’re going to be keeping ourselves busy!
